The Challenge

One of the primary challenges for Spintip is ensuring that the AI can accurately identify and extract the most important moments of a tennis game from the full video. This requires advanced video analytics and real-time object detection to distinguish between key events (e.g., points, serves, game-changing moments) and irrelevant content (e.g., breaks, crowd shots, or repetitive sequences).

Processing videos in real-time—whether live or prerecorded—is computationally intensive and requires high performance to ensure there are no delays. Real-time object detection with TensorFlow and advanced video analytics for sports needs to be efficient, with minimal lag in processing.

The Process

We aligned with the business vision to develop a thorough project brief, which included extensive market research, competitor analysis, and relevant data. We then brought the concept to life by defining a detailed list of user stories and features to validate the core assumptions of the MVP.

We started by designing the key screens to show the client the product’s look. After refining the UX/UI through client feedback. Once these primary screens were finalized, we expanded the design to cover all additional screens and delivered the complete UX/UI for the product.

At this stage, we focus on developing the AI-powered sports highlight video maker by crafting the architecture of the AI model and training it.

After the product launch, we collected feedback from end-users to refine and enhance the product. We introduced new iterations and features concurrently to ensure an optimal user experience.
